In this class we'll create a color palette and organize fabric layout for either design. We'll cover a variety of methods of applique before beginning and demonstrate how to hand quilt using the big stitch technique.

Supplies: Gathered book by Jen Kingwell, fabrics to make pillow, Optional: Igor mylar template $5.50 or On the Hour mylar template $7.50
Tools needed for class: template plastic, sandpaper board, marking tool, sewing machine for raw edge applique, size 11 milliner needle for needle turn applique, basic sewing tools such as scissors, seam ripper, etc.
